Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. The Corporate Development Associate supports high-impact corporate development and strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This role is designed for professionals transitioning from investment banking into a corporate strategy and development environment while continuing to apply rigorous financial, analytical, and transaction skillsets.

In this role, you will move from advisory execution to principal-side ownership of analysis, gaining direct exposure to strategic decision-making, long-term value creation, and operational outcomes. You will play a critical role in executing complex initiatives such as M&A transactions, asset evaluations, and internal optimization efforts, while partnering closely with senior leadership.

• Support corporate development and strategic initiatives including M&A and asset evaluations
• Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses
• Prepare investment memos and business cases
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence
• Conduct market and industry analysis
• Develop executive presentations
• Track deliverables and timelines
• Support ad-hoc analysis requests

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 3 years of investment banking experience
• Strong financial modeling and valuation experience
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• MBA or CFA (or progress toward CFA)
• Experience with end-to-end deal execution
• Power BI or data visualization experience
• Executive presentation skills
