An established, privately held design-build contractor is seeking a Project Executive to lead complex projects across light industrial and specialty sectors. This is a high-impact leadership role offering autonomy, direct access to ownership, and the opportunity to shape project outcomes within a lean, high-performing organization.
- Provide executive-level oversight for multiple concurrent design-build projects from preconstruction through close-out
- Lead and mentor Project Managers and project teams, setting clear expectations and driving accountability
- Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and risk management
- Partner with preconstruction and business development teams during pursuit, estimating, and contract negotiations
- Act as the senior client-facing representative, building long-term relationships and ensuring repeat business
- Collaborate closely with operations and field leadership to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are met
- Implement best practices, processes, and systems to support scalable growth

- Proven experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or Operations Manager within a design-build or general contracting environment
- Strong background delivering industrial, cold storage, self-storage, hospitality, or similar commercial projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex project portfolios and lead high-performing teams
- Excellent financial acumen with a track record of driving profitable project outcomes
- Confident communicator capable of engaging directly with owners, clients, and executive stakeholders
- Experience operating in lean, entrepreneurial, or owner-led construction businesses preferred
- Proficiency with construction management software and financial reporting tools
Compensation: Base $175,000 - $215,000 base incentive packages and benefits
