Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in keeping our Parking operations running efficiently. This position supports the daily workflow of the department by assisting with managing administrative functions, coordinating schedules, maintaining office inventory, and ensuring clear communication across staff and visitors. Responsibilities include handling correspondence, organizing files and records, and assisting with equipment and system coordination. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to support both front-line and management staff are essential for success in this role.

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00

About the Venue

This 50-acre urban revitalization project Centennial Yards is expected to transform underutilized property in the heart of Downtown Atlanta into a thriving community with leading businesses, retail establishments, a world-class entertainment district, and thousands of new apartments designed to develop a diverse, collaborative, and inclusive community.

Responsibilities
  • Check in daily with MOD/Staff to assist with supporting operational needs.
  • Reset Monthly Parkers to Neutral and grant free exits using Flash PARCS.
  • Assist with managing the Monthly Parker accounts, including:
    • Billing updates
    • Adding/updating/deleting parkers
    • Proximity card issuance and resets
    • Contract processing
    • Validation setup
    • Reporting and account audits
  • Assist with processing time punch edits and changes; ensure all punch corrections are properly documented and completed the day after each event.
  • Assist with reaching out to employees regarding missing punches.
  • Provide scheduling support as needed.
  • Assist with handling employee callouts and late notifications.
  • Assist with candidate coordination and teh interview process.
  • Assist with Hiring Manager with maintaining the New Hire Tracker.
  • Contact candidates from ADP for availability and uniform size collection.
  • Send welcome letters and schedule onboarding meetings.
  • Create PH/ABI login credentials for new hires.
  • Assist with leading first-day orientation, issue credentials, and support onboarding tasks.
  • Assist with managing event parking inventory
  • Track prepaid numbers and inventory throughout events.
  • Maintain uniform inventory, distribution, and tracking sheets.
  • Collect and file uniform waivers
  • Maintain and label radio/handheld equipment; manage sign-out logs.
  • Manage parking inboxes and respond to inquiries.
  • Complete daily transient parking reporting
  • Set and update event parking rates.
  • Run and maintain Flash Valet and Event Reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
  • Scan and file corrective action forms and uniform waiver documents.
  • Assist with providing on-site support during events, including breaks and gate vending.
  • Assist with operational readiness and event-day logistics.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1&-2 years of progressively responsible experience in parking operations, enforcement, or administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with parking management systems, revenue control software, or database management tools are strongly preferred.
  • Working understanding of parking and traffic control regulations, municipal parking ordinances, and ADA compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with citation processing platforms and department workflow tools is a plus.
  • Occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions to support operations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
