As a Security Officer Driver Screener in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Screener in a retail location, you will greet visitors, monitor entry activity, and support security-related screening and patrol efforts that help to deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or deliveries entering designated retail location areas in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor assigned entry points, sales floor access areas, and/or back-of-house locations to help support security-related procedures and report unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with responsibilities and working conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
