Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customer orders for shipment by picking, packing, and staging materials
- Operate forklifts to move insulation products safely throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload delivery trucks in a timely manner
- Verify shipping paperwork for accuracy before shipments leave the facility
- Inspect products for damage and report issues to management
- Maintain clean and organized shipping and storage areas
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure on-time shipments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and reading skills for shipping documents
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
- Experience with shipping software or warehouse management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safe material handling procedures
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and industrial equipment. Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times.
